Amr Abdel Hamid

The author Amr Abdel Hamid was born in Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt in 1987. Amr Abdel Hamid studied medicine, specializing in ENT surgery at Mansoura University. He became famous as a fantasy writer with his first published works, the "Ard Zykola" trilogy and the "Qawa’ed Gareteen" trilogy. His novel "The Girl with the Blue Collar" won the Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mansour Award for Science Fiction Novels. He also released the novel "Daqqat Al-Shamo," the second part of "Qawa’ed Gareteen," and its third part, "Amwaj Akma." Amr Abdel Hamid's works are among the best-selling books at many international book fairs, including the Riyadh International Book Fair in Saudi Arabia and the Cairo International Book Fair.
