The orange seat

This book will not offer you a magic recipe for the disappearance of pain, because, simply, no such recipe exists. But we promise you something more precious: you will not feel alone while reading its pages.

No matter your age or what you are currently going through, you will find comfort in our words, and you will see in the stories of others a mirror reflecting something of your own story. You may find in the recovery experiences of others what helps you start your own journey, or at least, you will realize that you are not the only one who has suffered in silence. You will discover that this prison of pain and psychological trauma that has surrounded you may eventually have a door, a door that opens towards the light of recovery, if you choose to step towards it.

Some events may hurt you, and your personal pains may lessen with others. But in all cases, we are here to learn together how to live with pain, not how to escape it. Because escaping it does not save us, but facing it honestly is the beginning.

On this orange seat, we give you a safe space to release all that you have buried deep inside you. I wish you, from the bottom of my heart, that one day you will be able to express what you have masterfully suppressed, and what you could never bring yourself to disclose… because I know this feeling very well.
