Letters from the Companions

This religion did not reach us on a silver platter, but on a platter of hardship! It reached us through the bodies of the Companions, pierced by spears and cut by swords! It reached us through a river of their blood and mountains of their remains! It reached us through their wealth, their migration, their jihad, and their steadfastness! And these are three hundred messages from the Companions, which I chose to be comprehensive of all aspects of life in relationships and dealings, and love, and marriage and family, and neighbors, and work, and friends. I connected them to reality and brought them down to the level of application. These Companions were not reformed by time or place; they are the ones who reformed time and place.
