Eekadooly

Palm fronds shadowed the horizon from afar like green clouds. A strange cry deafened his ears, then he suddenly felt talons gripping his shoulders. He looked up and saw a giant bird spreading its wings, casting a shadow over his head. His breath quickened as he flew at a dizzying height over a deep valley carved by a river whose water was shimmering emerald! From afar, he spotted small huts, but they were close together, neatly arranged in clusters separated by pathways whose ground was covered with small yellow flowers. A soft female voice reached his ears, calling him and repeating a strange word whose meaning he didn't grasp! "Ikadoli...Ikadoli"
