Dr. Amr Abdel Hamid
The writer Amr Abdel Hamid was born in Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt in 1987. Amr Abdel Hamid studied medicine, specializing in ENT surgery at Mansoura University. He became famous as a fantasy writer with his first published works, the trilogy Ard Zikola and the trilogy Qawaed Garetin, and his novel The Girl with the Blue Collar won the Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Mansour Award for Science Fiction novels. He also released the novel Daqat Al-Shamo, the second part of the novel Qawaed Garetin, and also its third part Amwaj Akma. Amr Abdel Hamid's works are among the best-selling books in many international book fairs; including the Riyadh International Fair in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Cairo International Fair.
