Blue-collar girl
I still remember that strange gathering of our relatives at our house on the day my parents went to pick up my sister from the city police station. They all came to our house early that morning to see the new baby, and gathered around the television screen, listening to the long list of names being read by a young announcer... until my parents returned, before they cheered when the announcer mentioned my sister's name. I asked my aunt, surprised by what was happening: "Did you gather like this on the day my parents went to bring me from the city?!" She said: "No, your parents didn't even go to the city to pick you up. You're like the rest of the village children... your parents picked you up from the local village station. As for Suzan, the situation is a little different with her, she's blue-collar." Before she sighed and added in a distracted tone: "God sent that child to our family at just the right time."
