He turned and unleashed his legs, running as if racing the wind that slapped his face, almost bursting out of his skin from the speed. Thoughts clashed in his head like successive lightning bolts. From the intensity of the surprise, he didn't notice his run towards a deep abyss in the mountainous region he had rushed out of the forest towards when he saw them chasing him. If they caught him, they would kill him, and if he jumped, he would die! His mind was paralyzed from thinking; he would stop and defend himself, and he would try to escape from that village whose people were unjust. He stopped against his will, his legs slipping due to the weight of his body, and he fell rapidly, screaming towards the mountainside. He closed his eyes and surrendered to his fate, his heart pounding intensely.
